August Camps

Prep Camps - To be led by Mickey Kluner (and other Pinnacle staff).  These camps will be high intensity with focus on shaking the rust and getting players ready for tryouts.  Icetimes will have lots of flow drills, battle drills, small area games with some scrimmage and conditioning.

D-Camps - To be led by Ryan Fox (and other Pinnacle staff).  These camps will be solely focused on drills designed for D-men and mastering the position.  Will be a mix of skill work with position specific teaching.

Skating & Skills Camps - To be led by Candice Behm (and other Pinnacle staff).  These camps will be largely focused on skating and edge work with incorporated drills for puck skills as well.   Players will learn while having fun, but most importantly will leave the camp a more confident skater and hockey player.

3on3 Camps - These will be cross-ice 3on3 icetimes.  Each day will be a new tournament and will be new rosters each day from the camp registrants.  Fun, music filled atmospere with prizes for winning team each day.  This is an underappreciated development setup, as the number of times players touch the puck, have to battle for it, as well as time around the net with the puck for scoring opportunities FAR exceeds the full ice 3on3 setup.

Body Checking Camp - These camps will be focused on getting players (2012 new to Bantam and 2011 entering 2nd year contact) ready for the season.  Focus will be making/receiving contact, confidence on both sides of the check, proper angling and all other elements.   Will be a mix of straight instruction with much repetition, as well as incorporated game related drills and small area games.
